8:30 and 10:30- 3 year olds through kindergarten use a curriculum, First Look, that keeps the message simple and fun and gives a “first impression” of their loving heavenly Father. It focuses on one basic truth about God all month long. We want the children to believe three key things:
God made me. God loves me. Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
8:30 a.m. service Children will be checked in prior to service and remain with their parents until after the children’s moment which will continue to be part of the service. The children will then be invited to enjoy Sunday School within their Kindle groups as traditionally done at PHUMC with our HISkidz staff and volunteers.
8:30 and 10:30- 1st through 5th graders use the 252 Basics curriculum, a virtue driven curriculum reinforcing biblical truths and recognizes that partnering with parents is the best option for our kids. We want these kids to learn:
10:30 a.m. service: Before service, children will be checked in at the Children’s Ministry desk for their own worship time in the Children’s Room (A201), where they will enjoy high-energy music, games, a lesson, and lots of fun. Parents will pick up their children after service in their classrooms.
Children are welcome to remain in the sanctuary with their parents for worship during either service.
For our first time guests, you may complete our Registration card prior to arriving to help with the process.
