Palm Harbor United Methodist Church has a respected group of Stephen Ministers who are highly trained in the art of care giving. Stephen Ministers offer one-on-one care during a crisis. Their role is to listen and care – not give advice or counsel. They are also trained to provide follow up care with members after hospital stays or surgery, a death in the family, the birth of a child, or any other pastoral care need. Trust is essential in a caring relationship, and Stephen Ministers are people you can trust. Confidentiality is one of the most important principles of Stephen Ministry.
If you are in need of pastoral care, please contact Marilyn King, Congregational Care Coordinator, at 727-785-7487 x2611.
